FRESH CUT
Gap trench (old), Gap boyfriend jeans (I distressed them myself), Zara cropped sweater (old; similar here), Zara suede lace up heels (old), Pixi Beauty matte lustre lipstick in "classic red"
This year, especially this spring, I have found myself super motivated to declutter and minimize. For starters, I have been reading The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up. I'm so excited to get rid of unnecessary things! Speaking of tidying up, I got a few inches cut off my hair. To be honest, I had been neglecting my hair because I've been working out so much and just pulling my hair back. I've been wanting to get a cut for a while now and cutting my hair was right in line with this new tidiness kick I've been on. Timing couldn't have been more perfect. I met Camille at an event I spoke at last year. She has been a stylist for several years on the west coast and just opened her salon here in RDU. I told Camille I was in need of a cut and it turned out just how I wanted. If you're in the RDU area, you should definitely pay Camille a visit (book her here)!
I wore this look last weekend when I was back home to celebrate my mom's birthday. I think this may become my spring uniform. These girlfriend jeans are so comfy and I honestly wear them multiple times a week. I'm thinking of purchasing another pair in a darker wash for fall.
