They say everyone has a uniform of some sort. I certainly have an outfit that I lean towards when I am getting ready. My uniform consists of a pencil skirt, turtleneck, light jacket and pumps. This is an easy choice for me since it can transition easily from day to night. I brought this pencil skirt to wear for work. I think people tend to shy away from leather/faux leather in the workplace. However, an easy way to introduce leather into your work wardrobe is to find classic pieces in colors other than black. A pencil skirt is a great start. This particular skirt also comes in oxblood and khaki (which looks to be an olive shade). I purchased this skirt in a size larger and had it tailored because I wanted to make sure it fit like my other pencil skirts I wear to work. You certainly want to avoid skirts that are too form fitting. Fit is key!
